J.R. WATKINS NATURALS DONATES MORE THAN $80,000 IN PRODUCT TO HAITIAN RELIEF

All natural cleaning supplies to aid in clean-up and recovery efforts

(Jan. 28, 2010) — J.R. Watkins Naturals has donated more than $80,000 in
product — including all-purpose cleaner, dish soap, laundry detergent and hand soap — to aid the Haitian earthquake clean-up and recovery efforts.

The company has partnered with the University of Miami's Global Institute for Community Health and Development, which has a clinic in Haiti and was able to coordinate the delivery of these and other donations. "Conditions following the recent earthquake are difficult to imagine," J.R. Watkins President Mark Jacobs said. "We saw an opportunity to offer some comfort to the Haitian people by providing them with basic, day-to-day cleaning necessities."

J. R. Watkins has a tradition of providing support to those in need following natural disasters. In 2007, the company donated similar supplies to the residents of Rushford, Minn., after flooding in the region.

2009 Watkins Vendor Booth Wrap-Up

I wrapped up the 2009 Holiday season with my very last vendor show at the Wilsonville Methodist Church Christmas Bazaar. What a warm and wonderful way to end the year! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I love small towns.

Here is me at my booth!

Later Santa Claus waited patiently in line to get his Watkins products for all the good little boys and girls. I wonder if he needed some lip balm and menthol salve for his cold sleigh ride?

Congratulations to Donna H. for winning my drawing for a $15 Watkins Gift Certificate!

And there are three more winners I'd like to announce: Congrats to Katy O. of Arkansas for winning my Pumpkin Bread Mix in a Mitt from All Things G&D blog giveaway!

Congratulations to Rachael M. for winning my giveaway basket of goodies over at the Birmingham Mom Online blog giveaway!

And finally congrats to Kaiya M. for winning the $20 gift certificate at the Creekview Elementary School Winter Festival.

Whew! All those winners! Isn't that great! I love spreading a little bit of Watkins love around this time of year.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year! I'm going to be taking some time off to rest and relax over the holidays, but I will be back in 2010 ready to help you with all of your Watkins needs!

Happy Holidays everyone!
Beth
